Our Journey
Situated at the intersection of sustainability and luxury, Slow Made India (SMI) strives to create exquisite, eco-friendly fabrics while comprehensively addressing the three pillars of sustainability—economic development, social development, and environmental protection—at all stages of the handloom weaving process.
No electrically operated machinery is used in the entire fabric production process. SMI strives to use natural resources as much as possible, such as plant based dyes and azo-free reactive dyes which are less hazardous. Inspired by the slow approach, SMI is motivated to make a difference by reducing the environmental impact of textiles and creating a more sustainable future.
